Viktor and his team did an amazing job restoring the 1950s wood flooring that was hidden under carpet of our recently purchased home. They were professional, friendly, punctual, and beat out many others on price. We were walked through every step and through all the details such as stain colors, and adding a reducer in our kitchen to replace a hard lip that was leftover after removing the carpet, and we are absolutely in love with the finished product! He took time to listen to what I wanted, picked out a great stain based on the vision I was going for, and he answered all of my questions. His crew came on time each day and taped off areas of the house for protection. They even refinished steps in the house that now look brand new. We’ve had multiple positive experiences with Luxury Wood Floors. They did an amazing job with our Crofton home’s kitchen/living room remodel in 2017, adding and refinishing oak flooring to very closely match the preexisting floors. More recently, they did a buff and recoat of all of our main floors after they were damaged by renters. They were extremely responsive and did the work on a very quick turnaround, sending pictures and keeping us posted throughout the process while we were living out of state. There was a minor issue with the curing of the poly (not their fault) which they were quick to remedy once the issue was discovered, and the floors look good as new! We’ve been very happy with the quality of the work, responsiveness, pricing and overall professionalism of this company, and will return to them whenever the floors need a touch up! Viktor was very responsive to come out give an estimate and professional opinion on flooring to provide a more durable protective finish. Turnaround time from estimate to get complete was great, with me in the process of moving and allowing the proper time for the floor to dry. The result was an upgrade to what was previously done, parents approved of their work as well! Affordable pricing and easy to work with, highly recommend!

About 3 months ago, Viktor and his crew refinished two sets of stairs (leading for the basement to the second floor), complete with three handrails, one stair rail, a straight rail, and trim to match the vinyl flooring at our home. A rather difficult job, considering that the job involved removal of the existing stain, which did not match the vinyl flooring (it wasn’t even close), as well as protecting furniture and surrounding areas from dust while sanding, and cleaning, and prime the areas prior to applying the new stain, and polyurethane. Viktor prepared several samples to allow us to select one that would closely match the vinyl tile flooring finish. We were very pleased by the quality of the work and impressed by the professionalism, attention to details, and punctuality of the crew. The areas were left spotless when the work was completed. Excellent work indeed! We had a free consultation and estimate, and the price was very reasonable. We felt comfortable enough as to not look for any other contractors to compare. We definitely recommend Luxury Wood Floors to anyone needing new or refinished floors without hesitation.
